Hi, I'm restoring an early 1959 Series one and need to find another ( or photos/drawings/dimensions... )to check various details like the floor mounted pedals , fuel tank and battery brackets, tunnel rear gearbox mounting, etc..

Please can anyone out there help ?

Thanks in advance

Geoff.

Hi Geoff,

Welcome to the club once again :D

I'm sure you've trawled the web for info, but have you checked these pages out: The Lotus Seven Register it would be beneficial to sign up the their mailing list as well, it's free to join and details are on their site. Also lots of pics of series ones HERE

Christian

Many thanks Christian,

I've now been in contact with the Lotus Seven Historic Register and together with the photos you posted I'm starting to make progress.

Cheers

Geoff

Hi Geoff,

unfortunately I can't be much help in your quest but do you have a website/flickr account where you might post your progress. I expect that like me there are many others with a great deal of interest in projects like this.

Wishing you every success. [UP]
Andy

Hi,

Thanks for the interest. I'm currently sourcing info and parts and planning the work.

When the action starts I'll probably post the build on the web and put a link on here.

Cheers

Geoff.
